Woolwich Minor Hockey Association Fundraising

To help keep the cost of hockey registration affordable, the Fundraising Committee is responsible to organize and co-ordinate various fundraising efforts.

The fundraising Goal for 2011/2012 Season is $10,000

Below is a list of the planned activities

  1. Cash Calendars
    • We have joined forces with the Elmira Sugar Kings and are selling cash calendars. Every team will be given calendars and each player needs to sell at least one. If you need more, just ask! For every calendar your team sells, your team will receive $ 5.00. This is a great gift idea and a WIN / WIN / WIN type fundraiser.
  2. Pepperettes
    • Back by popular demand! Once again we will be selling pepperettes at a cost of $5 / package. Each player needs to sell 5 packages. Last year we raised $5,000.00 and we are certain to exceed last years’ profits with everyone on board! The team to sell the most pepperettes will be awarded a prize!
  3. Spring Golf Tournament
    • Spring Golf Tourney – Always a great event and a nice way to wrap up the season! Did you know if each team entered a foursome, the tournament will almost be full! The golf tournament will take place in May 2012. Details will follow in the new year.
  4. Team Fundraiser - Foodland BBQs
    • Interested in running a team BBQ at FOODLAND? Contact Chris Williams for available dates and further details.
